Novatel Launches Ovation MC760 EVDO Rev-A USB Micro Modem

Novatel announced the Ovation MC760 Micro Modem today. This is Novatel’s smallest USB EVDO Modem and is packed with features. The features include:

• EVDO Rev A Modem
• Weighs less than one ounce
• Windows Vista/XP/2000, Mac OS X, Linux Compatible
• MicroSD Slot (supports up to 8gb)
• advanced internal dual band antenna and diversity
• LED Indicators
• GPS Support (if carrier supports it)

Based on looking at the latest Sprint Rebate Form, we noticed the Ovation U760 is already listed. However, we are not expecting the launch of the Novatel Ovation U760 for another few months on Sprint.

We would guess this would be called the USB760, when it is lauched on Verizon.
